In advance of Orkney supergroup The Chair’s biggest show ever-playing to a potential 14,000 people at the Glasgow SSE Hydro in December-they are hosting a special ‘Winter Warm-up’ at Rapture. They make their debut appearance at the new venue on November 14th. Joining them will be the SkateHorns; a three-piece brass section adding some extra parp to the already rambunctious eight-piece trad-folk stramash. Popular local singer-songwriter John Dearness will open the night with an intimate solo set.
